Pilgrimage

Amarnath Yatra Package

📅 5 Days / 4 Nights Starting from ₹14,999

About This Package

The Amarnath Yatra is one of the holiest Hindu pilgrimages in India, drawing hundreds of thousands of devotees each year to the sacred Amarnath Cave nestled deep in the Kashmir Himalayas at an altitude of 3,888 metres. Inside the cave, a naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam waxes and wanes with the lunar cycle — a phenomenon revered as a divine manifestation of Lord Shiva. This package takes you on the traditional Pahalgam route, a 46-kilometre trek over three to four days through some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery on earth.

Your journey begins at the Nunwan base camp in Pahalgam, where you'll complete the mandatory registration with SASB (Shri Amarnath Shrine Board) and undergo a medical fitness check. The trek passes through the legendary Sheshnag Lake at 3,590 metres — the pristine glacial lake named after the mythical seven-headed serpent Nag — before crossing the formidable Mahagunas Pass at 4,276 metres, the highest point on the entire route. You'll camp at Panchtarni, the "Place of Five Rivers," before the final 6-kilometre walk to the holy cave for darshan of the sacred ice lingam.

The Pahalgam route is longer but far more scenic than the alternate Baltal route, offering alpine meadows, pine forests, glacial streams, and panoramic Himalayan views at every turn. Physical fitness is essential, and the yatra season runs from late June to August, with exact dates announced annually by the Shrine Board. Our experienced mountain guides, support team, first aid, and oxygen support ensure your pilgrimage is safe, well-organized, and spiritually fulfilling. After the trek, recover and relax in the beautiful town of Pahalgam before departure.

Best Time to Visit

The Amarnath Yatra season runs from late June to August, with exact dates set annually by SASB (Shri Amarnath Shrine Board). Weather is cold even in summer — expect 5-15°C during the day and below 0°C at night at the higher camps like Sheshnag and Panchtarni. July typically offers the best weather window with clearer skies and more stable conditions, though rain and snow can occur at any time at these altitudes. Early registration and physical preparation are strongly recommended.
